Created in 2012 by Indra Balassoupramaniane, French Property Lawyer is a French law firm based in France (Toulouse) with an office in Canada (Montreal).
Specialized in French property law for an anglophone clientele, it provides a spectrum of legal services for Anglo-Saxons based in France on different issues related to their properties in France.
About the founder
Having qualified in France and Canada (in law and business administration), Indra Balassoupramaniane had worked several years in Business and international law within big law firms and international companies (in Canada et France) before specializing in French property law at Tees Law.
In 2006, Indra was head hunted by top 100 law firms Tees Law (formerly Stanley Tee LLP) and join the group.
Tees Law (former Stanley Tee LLP) is a law firm, founded in 1913, with around 100 solicitors and over 200 employees, based near London with six offices across the East Anglian region. It provides a broad spectrum of legal services to both private and commercial clients.
Within this firm, Indra worked at the French department's (Tee France) and specialised in French property law, succession, inheritance tax planning and cross border estates.
In early 2012, Indra set up her law firm in France, French Property Lawyer, in response to demand from Britons and Anglo-Saxons already based in France in need of legal assistance for managing their property and all their legal affairs in France.
Indra Balassoupramaniane assists her clients with the purchase of their French property by explaining the intricacies of French property law and procedures and help them anticipate and avoid problems
She also assists her clients to manage their property, once they bought it and provides legal services on a wide range of queries such as :
