Transportation

SNCF Rail Pass

There is a variety of affordable and flexible Rail passes. Most passes have special discounts for youth and seniors. They can be purchased on line at http://www.raileurope.com/.

Pick-up and delivery of luggage from your hotel to your final destination can be organized 24 hours in advance by contacting the SNCF Baggage Service (Baggage is picked up and delivered Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm).

Métro in Paris

The Métro in Paris runs from 5 :30 am to 12 :30 am. You can purchase a single ticket or a “ carnet ” of ten tickets which can also be used on buses. Keep your ticket handy, you may be asked to show it to a transit inspector, and tickets are sometimes needed to exit Métro turnstile.

Plane

Air France and other regional airlines offer domestic flights. Airports are well served by shuttle services. Senior, youth and student discounts are available on many domestic flights. Inquire when making reservations.
